I wanted to make you guys aware that Blistered Glory won't be on the road for a bit because we are currently rebuilding the band with a new drummer, and we are trying out about 5 (and counting) different singers who've responded to our ads.
So during this time after we select our new lead singer (don't worry, the new members will have huge announcements about them posted on this site, you won't miss a thing), we'll then have to at least record 2 new songs. Now these songs will most likely not be added onto the already made Blistered Glory 9-track CD, but we'll be starting all over with a brand new demo.
Then, as if that weren't enough, I (and help from the very talented SiteDesignz.net company here in Houston) will totally rehaul the website and make a fresh and dramatic website that kicks as much ass as I can possibly make it.
Then, and only then, we will be back on tour with new musicians, new songs, and a whole new sound altogether. Well, I shouldn't say "new," but let's say better, and more refined.
I'm very excited, you guys. Very. The drummer we're looking at is extremely talented, and there are a few singers that are really catching our eyes. Things are looking up. But let us never forget the legacy of drummer Jono Lacy.
So the only thing that will stay the same over the next 3 or 4 months is this forum. SO TAKE ADVANTAGE OF IT, DAMMIT! Make damn sure to keep in touch with us. Because when we come back, you will not want to miss it.
